Health and wellness has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I played every sport there was and started going to the gym at a pretty early age. I loved the way exercise it made me feel. As I grew older I started to develop a more complicated relationship with food and body image. I had a sedentary job, found myself often fatigued, drinking too much coffee and alcohol and eating too much sugar.
I was fixated on calorie content and eating “clean”. I remember writing what I ate down in a book and crossing out foods that were bad and thinking “what a good day it would have been if I hadn’t eaten that’. Meal times began to feel like torture and my workouts were punishment. I was hungry, tired and sick of not knowing how to properly take care of my body.
In the beginning I wanted to learn about nutrition mostly for myself because I knew I couldn’t live the rest of my life like that. My goal is to teach others they can live a life with BALANCE. You don’t have to deprive yourself. You don’t have to go hungry. You can feel amazing and live your life. This is a lifestyle. I want to teach you how to maintain this long term so you never have to go on a diet again.
