Terms & Conditions

This document functions as a contract between you, the Client/Student, and us, A.H. Nutrition Therapy. When attending events, purchasing services or soliciting advice from A.H. Nutrition Therapy, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. Please seek clarification on any content that is not fully understood.

The purpose of A.H. Nutrition Therapy is to provide information and guidance for the Client/Student to expand their know-how and ability to lead a nutrition-focused lifestyle. We strive to:

  • Undo common misconceptions about nutrition.

  • Reveal new avenues to perceive health and mental capacity.

  • Assist you in developing new strategies for health and wellness.

Services offered by A.H. Nutrition Therapy include:

  • Online programs

  • Personal services

  • Employee wellness training

  • Group workshops and seminars

Specific services, topics of discussion and the length of each engagement will be limited to the scope defined in the program or service description. Our nutrition plans are designed for adults, and we cannot provide comprehensive advice for children under the age of 5.

Each personal session is highly customized to the Client’s needs, goals and limitations. Each session runs for 60 minutes. We meet at our office in Manhattan, the Client’s home, an agreed upon outside location, online or by phone.

Participants in Online Programs will not receive individualized advice without entering into a Personal Service contract, wherein Client/Student discloses medical history and current health conditions. We are happy to answer brief emails or telephone calls from online program or event participants, but lengthy communications may be subject to billing, given Client/Student consent.

Clients/Students should expect to fully engage in a significant behavior and lifestyle change, which will touch upon many areas of life and will likely present some level of emotional, mental and physical challenge. A.H. Nutrition Therapy will be there to provide awareness, encouragement and motivation, but we will maintain a professional relationship with Client/Student and honor the agreed upon scope of service.

Furthermore, we do not make decisions for Client/Student, but act as a guide that offers information and support. Ultimately, you are the decision-maker and your success is greatly determined by your attitude and hard work.

Although we discuss in length the science behind nutrition and mental health, A.H. Nutrition Therapy does not employ a licensed medical or mental health practitioner; therefore, we do not provide medical advice. Services do not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. Services are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. Our advice and opinions are not intended to be in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment or therapy from a licensed medical practitioner.

All information gathered from Client/Student, including name, contact information and medical history, are secured and confidential. Any views expressed by Client/Student to A.H. Nutrition Therapy will be held with the utmost confidentiality. Information will only be release with the consent of Client/Student unless said information may potentially be injurious to a third party.

Personal service rates are based on $125 per hour. Invoices are given and paid through Google Checkout. Discounts are available for service packages and those who qualify. All persons are eligible for a 60-minute personal consultation free of charge.

Fees for business services are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss alternative payment plans.

Cancellation is required to take place at least 24 hours in advance of the purchased service in order to receive a full refund. For Online Programs, you may be refunded half of your registration fee following the first session. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration.

In the event A.H. Nutrition Therapy cancels, payments will be refunded in full or the date will be rescheduled. A.H. Nutrition Therapy holds the right to terminate a contract with any Client/Student that violates these terms and conditions.
