Almond Butter Date Shake
Sometimes I don't feel like a fully loaded greens shake. Sometimes I feel like a creamy shake that feels like an indulgence. This shake is loaded with protein (31 grams!), fibre and healthy fats. Have as a nourishing post workout shake or for breakfast. It will keep you full for hours!
Almond Butter Date Shake
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1-2 medjool dates
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Handful of ice
Blend until smooth and top with cacao nibs, granola or nuts/seeds if desired.
